We're #9!!!

So is it wrong to be jealous of family #8, #7, #6,#5, #4, #3 and #2? LOL We're not ready to be #1 yet! We have so much to do, such as start looking for storage for all the things we own that are in the spare bedroom. Register for baby stuff, and many, many other things.

I am so happy that we are finally given a number. It feels more real to me, like we will be bringing our baby home soon the it was when we copied our 2 years of taxes.

No more check list, no more appointments, and I feel like I'm one of the only people who say, "Finally! All I have to do is wait!"

I have heard that the wait is one of the hardest part of the process. The part that drives many people nuts! Not having a daily task to get closer to finishing the paper work. For me it feels like a weight has been lifted off my back! All I have to do is wait. And decorate the other room! ;O)

I so know what you mean... I said... I can't wait to just WAIT and the first 5 weeks weren't bad at all... but then came week 6 and then week 7 and now we are at week 8... haha. But I am learning to wait well.

CONGRATS!

Excited for your journey

Just found your blog. We brought home our baby girl in Aug. from HH Ethiopia. Check out the Hausam family blog--linked on my blog. There a SoCal family (adopted with AGCI-- in our travel group) and they started a SoCal Ethiopia Adoption Group! Good luck with the wait!!
