I'm so in love!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been home for a week and Miles is doing an awesome job fitting in and He has successfully stolen my heart! With these smiles, who wouldn't be in love!

Many friends have been asking, "So are you getting sleep?" The answer is ".....ah, no." He sleeps for about 5 hours straight starting at 7 or 8 p.m. and then he gets up every other hour after that. I can't tell you how many times I have prayed to God to get more sleep. The prayer line must be busy because it hasn't happened yet.

We went to the doctors to get his first check up with an international specialist. Other then the fact he's only 5% in his height range and 25% in his weight, he has motor skills of a 6 month old!!!

So....... he's a feather weight! Who cares! We shook it off.

Any ways, We will write more later on! Hope everyone is doing fine!

I can't believe how happy he is. What a blessing to have this child. I'll keep praying for you to get some sleep. Don't worry, it will happen eventually.

OH MY!
Wasn't Ethiopia so amazing!!
I miss it so much. I want to go back.
My little guy has gained so much weight since he's been home. He came home 3 months ago and the difference is amazing... HE IS A CHUNKY GUY.

I hear you with the "I'm so in love". Adoption is a MIRACLE FROM GOD!

He looks excellent, what beautiful eyes, I am so happy you all get to experience all of this. I am sure he will gain weight now that he is getting lots of nutrition, may just take a little time. The sleep thing (or lack of) is something you kinda have to get used to, it may get a little better but never is the same once you are a parent, at least in my experience over the last almost seven years. Ask Phil when we were in Vegas I was awake every morning at the crack of daylight eventhough technically could have slept in (tortuous to say the least). The best advice I heard (used) is to kind of make yourself sleep when Miles does. That takes time as well, it seems you all are doing great, as expected! - Danny

Congratulations Phil and Amanda!
He is just so beautiful...He looks so psyched about life in his pictures. What a wonderful blessing to the family! I can't wait to meet him :)

Gosh, Amanda & Phil, he is so beautiful! You won't believe how fast he chunks up, too. I'm so glad he's doing well even though he's partying all night long. Just think of it as bonding! :P
